Awww, look at that tiny ball of fur! While it’s exciting to bring a new puppy or kitten into your family, it can also be a bit overwhelming. They need a lot of care early on to ensure a long healthy life.
Even if you have raised puppies or kittens before, every breed has unique needs. Start off on the right paw with a thorough physical exam. Our veterinarians will guide you on proper nutrition, deworming, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, behavioral concerns, grooming and socializing your new pet into a home with other animals. Take a big breath, because there’s more: we’ll also check for congenital abnormalities including hernias and heart murmurs and provide you with information on food, microchipping, vaccines and pet insurance. Any questions? We’ll help you with those, too.
Please bring any adoption records or paperwork so we can review that information with you when you come in. Congratulations! We look forward to meeting your new best friend.
